RailFest 2014 Home School Day

Designed especially for home school families in our community, you'll love the immersive learning experience of railroading in the 1930 era.

Friday, April 11th, 2014 from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Museum.

The program is geared for children ages 5-12 although all are welcome. Participants will learn about chores children performed and games that were played nearly 75 years ago. In addition, make a paper lantern and learn common signals that the Railroad Signalman used to guide the trains in and out of the station, Interact with local businesses and our Hobo Re-enactors while making a bindle (sack on a stick).

Admission:
ADULTS - Free
PARTICIPATING CHILDREN - $6 each
ADDITIONAL CHILDREN (over 2 years) - $3 each

For 1-5 participating children, please select the appropriate payment listed. To register additional children, please enter the total amount for ALL children in the optional space. For example, for 2 participating children ($6 each) and one non-participating child ($3), enter $15. "Non-participating" children will have fun playing on the museum grounds, seeing the hobo camp and other activities.

Box lunches are also an option, or you may bring your own. Lunches may be ordered on your sign up sheet, so please add $7.50 to your total below for each lunch ordered.
