Stand With Laura and Save Our Vote

We have a unique opportunity to legally challenge an election in which over 4,000 legal Texas ballots are missing from electronic voting machines.  We need your help with a contribution to move this lawsuit forward in the Texas Supreme Court.

In December 2014, Dr. Laura Pressley ran for Austin City Council.  Election night we were told she lost the election.  Not believing those results, she ordered a hand recount of the ballots. Electronic voting machines in Texas are required to provide "ballot image storage" and retain uniquely numbered ballots, an electronic numbered ballot cast for all elections.  Election law in Texas allows for a manual recount of legal ballots cast in electronic voting machines.

Dr. Pressley filed an election contest and lawsuit in the attempt to determine the true outcome of her election.

Vote Protection

This is the first lawsuit filed by a Texas candidate that brings to light electronic voting machines and their lack of retention of legal ballots cast as required by the Texas Constitution and the Texas Election Code. With no legal ballots for a recount, election results cannot be verified, and the checks and balances for our elections are placed into question and the integrity of our vote is at risk.  We need your help in moving this critical election lawsuit forward in the Texas Supreme court to Save Our Vote!
