Earlier this year, I traveled with Morton Blackwell, Virginia's Republican National Committeeman, to Los Angeles to fight for grassroots activists within the GOP. I saw first-hand just how back-room deals are made and watched Morton, A.J. Spiker, and other principled members of the RNC fight back against Reince Priebus, Henry Barbour, John Ryder, and Jim Bopp.
Though Morton's amendment didn't pass the Rules Committee, Morton is once again gearing up for a rules battle -- this time, at the RNC Summer meeting in Boston in mid-August. I'm once again traveling with him to help fight for grassroots activists.
I'm asking you to give just a few bucks to help me cover the cost of expenses once I'm there. This generally tends to be printing and transportation to move information quickly. Whatever you can afford, I'd appreciate it.
Contributions to the RNC Summer Meeting fund are personal contributions to Matthew Hurtt. They aren't tax deductible.
