If you want another County Commissioner who goes along with the crowd for the sake of politics, who doesn't ask the hard questions and demand the facts to make informed and appropriate decisions on your behalf, who is a "yes man" for every big spending liberal idea that comes before us, I am emphatically not your man.

However, if you would like to keep the only truly conservative voice on the County Commission, the only one with the integrity too look out for you the tax payer and to always do what I believe is in your best interests--not those of the political elite and well-connected--then I am, in fact, your man.

I am 100% against the Greenlight Pinellas plan, and should it pass, will fight to keep them honest and prevent them from raising property taxes. I believe in low taxes and a smaller budget that doesn't expand faster than your household income. I also strongly support our veterans in Pinellas, and believe we should be spending the money to take care of them. Small businesses and economic growth are imperative, and I support measures to foster an environment conducive to free enterprise. I believe there are smart, efficient, and cost-effective ways of improving many facets of life here in Pinellas, including homelessness and Fire & EMS dispatch and transport.

Over my past 4 years on the Commission, my commitment has been to political service over political games. My conservative principles and dedication to Pinellas County have led me to fight to:

• Protect our resources
• Protect our future

And I will continue to do so if you re-elect me for 4 more years. But I promise to honor the will of the overwhelming majority of Pinellas voters who chose to enact term limits and not run for this office again after my second term. It will be time for new faces and fresh ideas, instead of lifelong professional politicians making the decisions that directly impact your day to day lives.

So please, if you want a Commissioner who has been doing the job for 4 years with the integrity to do what's right, contribute now.
