Rules and Regulations Regarding Contributions
The California Political Reform Act (Proposition 34) places limits on contributions to candidates for state office and imposes certain prohibitions. This request does not seek a contribution in excess of applicable limits or from prohibition sources. An individual, union, PAC, or other entities may contribute a maximum of $3,600 to the committee per election, primary or general. A registered Small Contributor Committee may contribute a maximum of $7,200 per election. No person who contracts with the City and County of San Francisco whose transaction requires approval of the Board of Supervisors shall make a contribution during negotiation of such contract or the prior three months before contract approval. Contributions are not deductible for tax purposes.
