As I explore what direction to take, personal donations from early supporters now are "seed money" so I can increase my travel across the state meeting voters, gauging support at the grassroots level, and doing those other preliminary, organizational, and necessarily strategic things needed to determine whether I should run.
Whether $25 now or $25 a month for the next four months, or a one-time donation of $250, $500, or $1000 now, every supporter's help will be greatly appreciated during this exploratory phase and will move us closer to the goal we've set.
And because the mid-year campaign finance cycle runs through June 30th, please donate securely today online no later than 11:59PM, June 30. Having a strong initial report is important. (Even if you cannot do so until after June 30th, please help as soon as you can because of the importance of this exploratory part of the election cycle.)
In addition to a personal donation, over the next 90 days I will also make myself available to speak directly with you and other friends by phone or by visit with you and others in your home, community, business, or religious or civic organization to listen to your concerns and ideas, to discuss relevant issues of interest to you, and to share what my specific priorities would be if running and elected in 2020.
