The Houston Area COGIC PAC and its nearly 36,000 members city-wide believe in fighting for the rights of local church-goers. Those who support our efforts, fund our mission. In 2011 Local Govt. created a “rain tax” aka Drainage Fee in Houston which attempted to included local churches and seniors, the State Supreme Court voided it. In 2012 Local Govt in Houston made it illegal for Churches to feed the Homeless without going through the City to be certified. In 2014 the Local Govt. make it legal for Men to go into the ladies restroom. Our group is created to prevent future attacks on our moral rights and public policies. We will support candidates who believe in fighting for our values.
Founded in 2013 by Phillip Paul Bryant, a community organizer, The HA-COGIC PAC has been at the forefront fighting for change and policies that reflect our values.
