Corporate contributions, contributions from registered NC lobbyists, and contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. The committee cannot accept contributions from NC Registered lobbyists and are not asking for such.  We are providing you with a copy of this invitation simply to inform you of this event and request that you pass the information along to any interested parties and recommend support where appropriate.

North Carolina law allows any individual or registered political action committee to contribute up to $4,000 per election.  Couples may contribute $8,000 per each election from a joint account, but such a contribution requires both signatures.

North Carolina law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, job title or profession and name of employer or employer's specific field and specific former field for those who are retired for each individual whose contribution aggregate is in excess of $50 in an election.

Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
