Don't get me wrong, 2010 was critically important. The big-spending Democrats lost control of the House when Republicans gained 63 seats. This was huge! To put this in perspective, in 1974 after the Watergate Scandal forced the resignation of President Nixon, the Republicans lost 49 seats.
One could conclude that the American electorate was more upset with the big-spending Dems in 2010 than they were with a crooked President in 1974. Americans are rightly concerned with the financial health of our nation. We can't continue to pile mountains of debt on our children and grandchildren.
Tea Parties played a vital role in putting the brakes on Washington's out-of-control spending by "cleaning House in 2010." We will play an equally vital role in 2012 as we sweep out the White House and the Senate.
