Colin Needs YOU! Help our Fabulous Teen Student!

Why help Colin? He has become a successful contributing member of Pride School Atlanta, the Southeast's only school where ALL get to be themselves.

A Message from Colin's Mom:

We are so excited to have found Pride School Atlanta, a small safe place for my son to regain his self-confidence and joy in learning again. I can't be more grateful to have found an environment that gives him the chance to be himself and live his life authentically.

He has struggled with the school system since 2014 and I was in a panic, dreading the beginning of the 2017 school year and certain this would be the year he'd give up. While searching online for help I found Pride School and wrote Christian Z. to ask for advice or referrals to navigate the situation we're working with. As soon as he responded my constant fear and anxiety regarding the upcoming year faded away. We're certain this is where he needs to be for now.

Unfortunately, our budget can't stretch far enough to cover the entire semester's cost so I'm reaching out for help.

If you're not in a place to donate but would still like to help Colin and this wonderful school, please take a moment to share the word. I am currently reaching out to anyone and everyone I can think of including second cousins, Ellen, and big corporations.

From all of us at Pride School Atlanta:

Several individuals have donated a total of approximately $400 to Colin so far including $1,750 from The Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta and a pledge of $300/mo. for 4 months. Families spend a lot of money on therapy, college savings, medical care, and more for their children, esp. for LGBTQQIA youth who are struggling. We hope to make this school accessible to all who need it. Any funds over and above this year's tuition will go towards our general scholarship fund and help other students this year and next year. Help Colin stick around without the added stress of financial concerns, and help us get a few more in the door for the long haul!

No child should have to advocate for their existence just to get an education.
