Dear Friends and Neighbors,

         Thank you for your vote on Election Day November 3. By now you know, I made the runoff for Houston City Council At-Large Position 1, which will be held on December 12. I will need your vote and support once again if we are to be victorious.

As you know, I am a mother and grandmother who is a small business owner in the city for over 30 years and I am a proud graduate of Texas Southern University.

Many of you know me because I have taken your pictures or those of your children and grandchildren. Family means everything to me and that’s why I’m running to serve as your At-Large Position 1 City Councilmember.

I’m Experienced enough to know that At-Large Position 1 needs an Independent voice at City Hall whose only agenda is your agenda.

I’m running for City Council to make sure that everyone in Houston has a FIRST CHANCE.

Having listened to the residents of this great city during this campaign, I know that we all want a First Chance for a good paying job; a First Chance at a Quality Education for our children and grandchildren; a First Chance for safer neighborhoods; and a First Chance for more affordable housing and better streets and sidewalks throughout Houston.

Together we can make Houston a safer, cleaner and healthier community.
