Don Shaw for Brentsville District Supervisor

For far too long, the voice of special interests has been the loudest and most listened to in the county.  Our roads and streets are crowded and so are our schools.  Businesses are reluctant to relocate to Prince William County as evidenced by our imbalanced property tax structure.  We have the largest average class sizes in Virginia and many students have at least one class in a modular classroom (trailer) located outside their school buildings.  The proposed Bi-County Parkway threatens the integrity of our Rural Crescent.

I feel that Prince William County is on the wrong track.  It’s time to reclaim the Board of County Supervisors for the people of Prince William County and get back to the business of addressing the issues most important to the residents of the Brentsville District.  I have, therefore, decided to step up to the challenge and declare my candidacy for Brentsville Supervisor. 

I am very passionate about good government and good governance.  We must demand elected officials who are willing to stand up for their constituents, not special interests, and we must hold them accountable.  For too long, the deep-pocketed special interest groups have wielded a disproportionate amount of power in Prince William County.  As the second most populous county in Virginia, we should set the example for good governance and good government and face these challenges head-on.  Please donate to my campaign and help put Prince William County back on the right track!
