The Oviedo Preservation Project's Citrus & Celery Cook-Off

The Oviedo Preservation Project's Citrus & Celery Cook-Off presented by Duda Farm Fresh Foods features some of Oviedo's most creative cuisine as home cooks seek to tantilize our tastebuds with recipes containing the two crops that put Oviedo on the map, citrus & celery.

On Saturday, March 11, 2017 we invite you to sample the recipes of up to 32 cooks who will be showcasing their talents with recipes that involve the two crops that put Oviedo on the map, citrus, and celery. We need 100 members of the community to serve as People's Choice Judges. These Judges will get to sample the recipes that seem most appealing and vote for their favorites.

WHEN: Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (cooks set up from 9:30 to 10:30 - public may watch the event from outside the tent until the celebrity judges conclude their analysis at 11:30)

WHERE: The Cook-Off Tent (at Taste of Oviedo, located in the parking lot of the Oviedo Mall sort of close to Chamberlain's)

WHY: Because everyone eats, and this is cool.
