Invest in Ending the Abuse on Property Owners

Friends,

Secure property rights are the foundation of a prosperous society.

Without them, there is little incentive to save, invest, and build for the future.

But these days, petty thieves and vandals are the least of our worries.

Our own government steals property and abuses property owners on a colossal scale.

Our politicians attempt to force landlords to accept Section 8.

They force you to support socialist policies by evicting you from your home if you don't pay a property tax.

And they impose oppressive zoning laws, building codes, and permitting/licensing schemes to deny you the freedom to peacefully use YOUR property and life savings as you see fit.

Now, with their near unanimous support of Bill 8-17, it's clear that our politicians cannot be trusted to protect property rights.

Your individual property rights are at odds with government power.

Therefore, you can ALWAYS expect politicians to find sneaky ways to abuse property owners.

Council Bill 8-17 is just the latest example...forcing property owners to hire a rat inspection service before removing ANY structure on their property...

...even if there have been no complaints or evidence about rats being on the property.

Politicians are using the excuse of rat infestation in certain neighborhoods to try to convince us that government needs EVEN MORE POWER over property owners in ALL neighborhoods.

Help Maryland Campaign for Liberty put our politicians on notice that their property rights abuses will be widely exposed.
