Help us defeat McCarthy's 52% wastewater fee increase

Just weeks after approving a bloated county budget which included wasteful spending on unnecessary projects including new parks, an $18 million dollar library, and yet another astroturf sports field...

...County Executive Alan McCarthy wants the County Council to approve a Resolution that will once again dip even further into the pockets of county residents. 

McCarthy is proposing a massive 52% rate hike for wastewater system users.

You see, McCarthy wants to attract businesses to Cecil County by forcing current users to pay for the underground pipes that will service privately owned corporations.

If this Resolution is passed, the "little guy" will once again get the shaft while big business and the owners of the properties getting "free" sewer pipes will make out like bandits.
