Individuals may contribute up to $7,200 per election -- $2,400 for the primary, $2,400 for the primary run-off, and an additional $2,400 for the general election. Individuals may write one check for $7,200 and indicate “primary/run-off/general” in the memo of the check. A couple may write a check drawn on a joint account (both names are listed on the account) for up to $14,400 if “primary/run-off/general” is indicated in the memo of the check and this form is completed and signed by both contributors. (If no primary run-off election is held, funds designated to that election will be refunded, or redesignated, per your instructions.)
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
