The seedling stage is the most tender and delicate of the plant life cycle.  Once sprouted from its seed, the seedling is vulnerable to sudden changes to its environment and extremely susceptible to pests and diseases.  As it struggles to grow stronger, a seedling's underdeveloped root system needs constant watering, consistent temperatures, and ample nutrients.  Without all of these needs met, a seedling’s survival in nature becomes bleak.

 

Much like seedlings, children need a nurturing environment to help them grow.  These students started out the school year as new seeds planted in the rich soil of Cornerstone’s academic and spiritual environment.  Despite their fragility, they have sprouted and grown into seedlings with the potential to thrive. But they still need your help! These students need vigilant care until they are ready to grow on their own. Will you help water these seedlings so that they can reach their full potential?

 

All gifts donated by July 31st, 2012 will be matched up to $40,000.
