Maryland's out-of-touch liberal Democrats are at it again. Martin O'Malley is trying to stack the deck in Maryland for the next decade by forcing through a gerrymandered congressional redistricting map in a fall special session. On top of that, O'Malley and Lt. Governor Anthony Brown want to raise the gas tax during the special session by another 10 cents per gallon – a 42% increase!

Can you make an investment of $20, $42, $50, $100, or even just $10 to help us continue our efforts to stop O'Malley's money/power grab?

Thanks in part to grassroots support from people like you, Republicans in the General Assembly helped kill a proposed gas tax hike during the 2011 Session that ended in April. Republicans also led the successful effort to halt a government-funded wind-farm boondoggle and stopped the O'Malley administration from swiping property rights through banning septic tanks.

MDGOP is on the frontlines fighting for fair district lines and against taking more of Marylanders' hard-earned money.

We are to mount the vigorous legal challenge that will be needed to fight the O'Malley machine's manipulated, political map but it’s going to take additional funding that is not part of our normal budget. If you could chip in just $10, $20, $42, or as much as $50 or $100, it would give us a real boost as we continue to fight every day for fair lines and no new taxes!

I know times are tough for many right now, but the Maryland Republican Party is making real progress towards turning Maryland into a two-party state. In 2010, we picked up over 40 seats across Maryland from the congressional level to the counties. Help us keep that momentum going and build on our victories from the 2011 session as well.
