On October 12, 2012 we witnessed a true tragedy--a fire at the St. Joseph Hill Convent. The historic portion of the Sisters' home—with their chapel, sacristy, archives and provincial offices were destroyed.

At the time, the Sisters asked for prayers, especially for their beloved Sister Regina, who was seriously injured. Now months have passed and the reconstruction has made significant headway.

Much has been donated to assist the Sisters in rebuilding their chapel, but more is needed!  It is to you, loyal friends and benefactors of the Daughters of Divine Charity, who we now turn to for support.  Insurance reimbursement only goes so far. 

Humbly, we ask you to take up this cross.  We never know how or where God gives us opportunities to show we are soldiers in Christ’s army.
