The work that we do here on a daily basis is the work that we are able to do, but with your support we can make the Current grow.  Over the years, with investigative reports, interviews, analysis, and multimedia, we’ve proven that we can compete with Rhode Island’s mainstream media.

We call it a subscription, but for now we are able to make sure that content on the Current remains free. The idea is that this small donation would be the equivalent of paying $0.25 per day to view our content, and to make sure it remains available for others, too.

Since you’ve come this far, we’ll let you in on a secret: Despite the claims of our detractors, we aren’t funded by billionaires from distant states.  We rely on our fellow Rhode Islanders — people who care about the direction of our state and want to change it for the better.
