Contributions are limited to $2,000 per person, business or PAC, per cycle.  Accordingly, a couple may donate $4,000.  The current primary cycle lasts until August 7, 2014.  

Donations from PACs, businesses, or lobbyists are prohibited during the special legislative session, which will occur between September 3 and September 5.
