An individual may contribute up to $1,500 for the primary election and up to $1,500 for the general election for a total of $3,000. LLCs that are not owned by a corporation may contribute up to $1,500 for the primary election and up to $1,500 for the general election for a total of $3,000. PACs and corporations registered with the State of Tennessee can contribute up to $11,200 for the primary election and up to $11,200 in the general election. However, corporations making campaign contributions totaling over $250 in the aggregate must register as a PAC and file campaign financial disclosure reports.
